Local small business owner Jason Baynham has a heart for service, and that is why the District Five dad is running to serve on the school board in the Richland County portion of the district. Jason is married to Lori with three daughters in District Five Schools; Kaitlyn, Madison and Isabella.

A native of Beech Island in Aiken County, Jason and his family made Irmo their home in 2012 where he serves as part of the praise and worship band at Dutch Fork Church, where his family are members. A former retail manager, Jason owns and operates Jason's Landscaping and Containers. Jason is a problem solver who forges relationships to get things done.

Jason has been heavily involved in the Special Education Department of the district for many years and is focused on many issues regarding special education.
